Yes, they fucking played Nite Klub. It was sooo awesome. Damian got all hyper and climbed up on top of the speakers and jumped off it afterwards. Fun stuff. I heart them a lot.

YOU'RE SOOOOO DAMN HOT!!Yes, this of course goes out to the lovely Damian Kulash of OK Go. I saw him twice today!!! Awwwww....... He has the prettiest, prettiest green eyes in the world. Such a pity that they are leaving for England tomorrow. Poo. Anyways, I took tons of pictures of the show (mostly of Damian) and you can check them out here. And I did get them to draw on the other side of my lovely green bag. Damian drew my shoe cos he thought they were cool. He said that they are touring again in April w/ The Donnas. Yay!

Field trip to the Getty today was fun. We saw Bill Viola's exhibition. It was funny cos I had seen one of him pieces before but I can't remeber where. It might have been at the Art Academy @ Cranbrook.... Reminds me of sneaking into their graduation party w/ Natalia and Ewan McGreor boy. haha.
I bought the Fader mag today. Article on a bunch of bands that I like. My favorite was when they claimed that Rob Harvey was the oldest member of The Music which is soo not true. Although he doesn't look it, Philbert is.... Get it right people!

Stop, Collaborate and Listen/BK's back with my brand new invention/something grabs a hold of me tightly/flow like a harpoon daily and nightly!Awww.... BK rocks my world! I went to the lovely in store gigsy @ Virgin Megastore today.
Brendan Benson sang a couple of songs first and the it was our Ben's turn. Ben is def. tiny. He's about my height and skinny, but adorable. So, what he wanted to do was for all of us to sit down and Ben would sing to us from the middle of the circle, campfire style. He called his backup vocal guy Josh (I think) and JK from Radish to sing w/ him too. Brendan Benson joined in as well. Fun stuff. It was kinda hard to take pixies cos the boy is v. hyper and moves around like no other and diggy cameras are stupid when it come to fast moving peeps. Anyways, there was a autograph session afterwards and I got him to sign a couple things and he drew on my bag. I think I'll try get the OK Go crew to draw on the back of it next week. Lovely day in the neighborhood. Cheers people. :)

On first hearing, former Moldy Peach Adam Green's simple, straight-to-the-heart songs were easy to pass off as the work of a sexually frustrated faux naif a la Johnathan Richman or Lou Barlow. Then again, the 21-year old was selling CDs at the merch table for a mere $5. Maybe Green is an actual naif a la Tiny Tim? Then again, his lyrics were simultaneously surrealistic, poetic, romantic and pornographic, with with protagonists who came on crackers and got blowjobs under rainbows while complaining about their bleeding hearts. "There is no wrong way to fuck a girl with no legs," Green sang. I can't say the thoguth ever occurred to me. No one ever said originality was pretty.

"There's more to life than being really really good looking." Yes, I've watched Zoolander like 10 times in the past few weeks. I'm really awake now cos I took a reeeaally long nap. So I figured I'd sit and type. I just talked to my friend from high school. I hadn't talked to her in a while so that was nice. She goes to Yaley and it's like 4am there so she finally went to bed. She knew someone who cut herself. She tried to help her. But she still does. She was one of those pretty, intelligent girls and everyone loved her. I sort of knew her as well but you wouldn't think that she would do anything like that. I don't know why she does it but she says that she is fine. She is not. Personally, I understand why people self-mutilate themselves but I don't feel that it's necessary. I know someone who's had depression. She didn't go to school for about 5 years. I've been friends w/ her since kindergarten. She was perfectly normal up until her parents got divorced. It's sad how these events can affect you so much. She has no social skills and she can't talk to anyone unless, it's a letter or an e-mail. When she finally went to school, she fell in love with a boy, she is anorexic now. I've tried to help her but since I am not at home all the time, it's hard. I want her to go back to her old self. I think she's beautiful just the way she is. Compared to a lot of people I have been fortunate. I do not really have any problems. I am happy. I have a wonderful family and I have my lovely weird friends even though, I might not be able to see them. I'm really concerned for someone right now. I've become really close with him. He is one of my best friends b/c we are practically the same person although we grew up in a totally different environment. He is a very talented artist and a wonderful person. I have a lot of respect for him and I love him as friend. I know you have a problem. You would probably think I'm being self-righteous but I'm not. So... Beck is doing a show in Tokyo the day after I leave. I reeeeeaaaally wanted to go see him cos he speaks funny Japanese during his shows. The Coral is coming as well in April. Damn it! I think that I need to go eat some Lucky Charms to make me lucky.
Coldplay is playing @ The Star Lounge on Feb. 10. Give me tickets!!! I'll pay you!!! They are playing at the Hollywood Bowl in May for sure.
