Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

I saw the original trailer for Gone With the Wind and my first Western film, "Stagecoach" I believe in class. It actually wasn't that bad. John Wayne is a hottie. I used to make fun of classical Hollywood films but after I took this class, I seem to appreciate it more but I still prefer European films.... And frankly my dear, I don't give a shit about school at this point. Fuck Errki's midterm. I mean, I like the man but his class is boring... It's all about Daniel.

I re-did The Music site. yeah. I think it looks more organized.

Apparently, Winona Ryder ate Conor Oberst. She's eaten a lot of musicians I must say.... Beck.....

Adam and Ben Kweller went into the studio today to record a B-side for Adam's forthcoming single..."Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty Mama."
Adam's new album, "Friends of Mine" will be released in the U.K. and Europe on June 23nd and in the U.S. on July 22.

If I Wasn't A Celebrity, Would You Still Be Nice to Me?

Probably not. Considering you're not even a celebrity. You're just a pseudo-rock star. ha! I hope you don't kill me for saying this.

1. Who is your favorite celebrity?
Songebob Squarepants. It's all about the sunglasses, man. Probably, Ewan McGregor cos he's tres sessy.

Mariah Carey. I think she takes up too much valuable space.

3. Have you ever met or seen any celebrities in real life?
Yes, a significant amount since I'm in LA. I go to a significant amount of shows too = seeing hot band boys.

I guess. I do want to be a semi-famous music video director.

5. If you had to trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?
Umm... Beck or Spike Jonze b/c they are both brilliant art-making human being imposters. I think they are actually from Neptune. By the way, I'm from Mars. Hence the song, Girl from Mras by Ash...

I just have to rember that Agnes Varda was the grandma of the French New Wave for the midterm. Did you know that Dorothy Arzner actually taught at our school.... and Francis Ford Coppola was one of her students? Well, she did. Probably why there's a statue of her sitting at the lobby of Melnitz.

Speaking of Melnitz.... Christopher Nolan and Todd Haynes are coming to speak next month. How exciting.

More bands playing for Fuji Rock announced!

Okay, one unexpected thing.... The fucking Coral?????? Man, that rules!!!! I though they'd be playing Summer Sonic. Apparently, at the show in Tokyo, James was prancing around singing without a shirt. Pete & Carl from The Libertines were at the show as well. Aww... how awesome.



I wish BRMC will play again..... Oh, the lovely drumming Nick Jago. Will The Libertines be playing Fuji Rock or Summer Sonic? I say Summer Sonic. Oh and Jimmy Eat World cancelled Fuji, I hear. Also, The Kills might be playing Summer Sonic. Wee. VV! Feeder, The Jeevas and Longwave will probably play Fuji. Man I thought that Longwave would play Summer Sonic b/c of The Strokes...

I'm soooo excited for this summer. ALL my favorite bands are coming except for The Moldy Peaches and Hot Hot Heat. I have a feeling that Hot Hot Heat will be playing Summer Sonic though.....

Can I just tell you I jealous I am of my friends who went to see The Libertines in Tokyo???? First of all, they did a cover of "Dreaming of You" and the second nite in Tokyo, Carl was on stage w/ his lovely plaid skirt. Him and Peter were trying to pull a t.a.T.u but Peter's skirt didn't fit him. Aww. Apparently, all the shows were soo soo good. Man, and to make things better, one of my friends got to kiss both Peter & Carl. Yeah it's great but I'll see them this weekend at Coachella. I don't see why The Music hates them so much. Whatever. Peter & Carl put together are hotter than all 4 of The Music put together. Maybe I shouldn't have said that...

...I just want to capture what's real and honest. ...And what if it's boring?

Lines from CQ. Not the best film ever but not exactly the worst. I had the video of it at home but I never got around to watching it for some reason. The fear of it being boring and the fear from me liking it a lot despite the horrid criticism it received when it came out. I guess it happens to the best of us. But alas, the Sundance channel has done it again. I felt that a lot of things were missing but I don't know what.... Perhaps it tried too hard to be both commercial and independent but the content certainly is. I like Roman's style. The man himself still remains a mystery to me though. Paul reminded me of Spike Jonze. I love Paul's character, maybe because he's a lot like me in a lot of ways. I wish there were boys that were like him. And I wish I knew boys like that. I've met about one but he is an artist not a filmmaker. I wish my Paul looked like this.

The set was a big jumble of old to new to cover songs. It was SUCH a good show though. The acoustic show yesterday was SOOO good but I kinda liked today's set better just cos it was more fun. sjhefiuwefhkajfdlkkjerhqw. BECK ROCKS MY WORLD.

Okay, so I heard 4 songs off the so-called "The Bens" EP. You're probably thinking who the hell are The Bens??? None other than the lurverly Ben Kweller, Ben Folds and Ben Lee. It's really good plus it's BK's drum debut. I always said I had a thing for drummers and now that I found out BK plays the drums, he's #3 on my fave drummer list. haha. The kids is just amazing. Just a thought.... BK and Ben Folds are both playing Coachella. If Ben Lee joins in..... hmm.... Apparently, he's playing at my school for free. Wee.

"Bandages" has been chosen as the Power Push viddy for this month on Space Shower TV.
